I am an apprentice at Salford City College and my day to day duties include dealing with visitors, signing in and out visitors, answering
and transferring calls, filing documents, copying, laminating, shredding and photocopying.
I chose to do an apprenticeship because I believe that apprenticeships are more rewarding. Not only are you getting the qualifications,
you are also getting the experience you need for working life.
I chose to study my apprenticeship at Salford City College because they offer a wide range of different apprenticeship courses.
After my apprenticeship I plan on working for an airline such as BA or Virgin and training to be a member of cabin crew.
Whilst on my apprenticeship the people I have met have been the best part of this course.
I would recommend doing an apprenticeship to others because if you do an apprenticeship you not only get a job straight away you also
get qualified. Jobs are hard to find these days so get an apprenticeship while you can! Be successful!
