Qualification(s):

Business Administration Level 2

Job Title:

Business Administration Apprentice

I am an apprentice at Salford City College and my day to day duties include assisting with the recruitment process of apprentices, filing CVs, updating the apprentice spreadsheet and updating the National Apprenticeship Service website. I also audit files, produce business documents and carry out other administrative duties.

I chose to do an apprenticeship because, after attending college for two weeks I decided that I prefer the practical side of work and would rather be in a working environment, earning and learning.

I chose to study my apprenticeship at Salford City College because I have a lot of friends that studied here and have done apprenticeships and really enjoyed them. Another reason is because the college kept in good contact with me throughout my application and it was a very smooth process.

I hope to stay with Trinity when my apprenticeship is completed or I will look for another business administration role elsewhere.

I have enjoyed meeting new people and learning new things and I have realised how much I enjoy working in an office environment.

I would recommend doing an apprenticeship to others because you can gain experience which is essential for finding a new job. Also, you are learning and earning and come out with a good qualification at the end of it all.
